What would it be like to have four different empresses become friends across time and space?
In this project, I re-designed famous female empresses in four different countries and historical periods with my own style, and after studying the mainstream painting styles of their respective historical periods, I reconstructed their images in the form of sketches at that time.
The final product is four illustrations in different styles, showing the imagination of the story of their relationship.
The composition and color of the picture are drawn from the paintings of the four empresses in their respective historical periods. On the basis of ancient techniques, I added electronic painting and cartoon design elements.
